AlgaEnergy chaired one of the roundtables included in the agenda, which generated a great interest among the attendees.
AlgaEnergy has participated in the first edition of the "Added Value Fertilizers Europe", celebrated between the 12th and the 14th February in Madrid. The meeting took place at the Westin Palace hotel and brought together the main European players in the value chain of fertilizers and other added value inputs used in agriculture.
AlgaEnergy was selected to chair one of the roundtables taking place during the first day of the Congress. Under the title "Exploring the use of microorganisms and biostimulants in agriculture", José María de Gregorio, Projects Development Manager at AlgaEnergy, was in charge of leading the meeting and introducing the different points of discussion. In this context, the roundtable covered points of discussion such as the current situation of the biostimulant market and its potential, the trends and challenges the industry is facing, as well as the different raw materials used to produce agricultural biostimulants, amongst which microalgae were highlighted.
