AlgaEnergy, selected as Best Pitch in the ‘EIC Investor Day - EU Green Deal’

AlgaEnergy, a world leader in microalgae biotechnology, has added another public recognition to its long list of successes. On this occasion, the biotechnology company has been distinguished with the recognition of the "Best Pitch" in the event 'EIC Investor Day focused on EU Green Deal', organized by the European Commission on the 10thand 11th of November. The EU Green Deal addressed the initiatives that can ensure a more sustainable and competitive global development, based on innovative and clean technologies.
AlgaEnergy has been distinguished by the jury -made up of representatives of European investment funds who are experts in the field- as the winner in the category of Climate Change, Resource Efficiencies and Agri-food Technology, in a competition that stood out for the high quality of the presentations.
The event featured four presentation sessions in which 36 highly innovative companies, previously selected from hundreds of applicants at the European level, appeared before a jury made up of more than 40 leading investors in green technology.
The European Innovation Council, dependent on the European Commission, is the main instrument of the EC to promote innovation with high potential and impact at a continental level.
