AlgaEnergy participates in SIAM for the first time, one of the most relevant fairs in the agricultural sector in Africa, and surprises once again with its innovative value proposition.
AlgaEnergy has participated for the first time in the ‘Salon International of l'Agriculture au Maroc’ (SIAM), which took place between the 24th and the 29th of April in Meknes, Morocco. In its 13 editions SIAM has established itself as the reference fair for the sector in Africa and a meeting point for the agricultural sector in Morocco. In this optimal scenario, the company presented its value proposition for a more sustainable agriculture, based on an innovative and effective solution: the range of agricultural biostimulants based on microalgae, AgriAlgae®.
The participation of AlgaEnergy in SIAM is part of the collaboration of the biotechnology company with the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX) entity that coordinated the participation of 30 Spanish companies from various industries related to agriculture.
The attendance to this trade fair demonstrates the great interest of AlgaEnergy in Africa. Not in vain, AlgaEnergy has participated in the '16th New Ag International Conference', which took place recently in Kenya and gathered the main players of the agri-food industry in the African continent.
Regarding the participation in SIAM, Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, AlgaEnergy’s General Manager, highlighted that “our attendance demonstrates the interest of AlgaEnergy in the African continent, not only for its immense potential, but also because we are in a privileged position to offer an efficient solution that helps farmers to increase the performance of their crops”.
