The global and European biostimulant market has significantly grown significantly in the last few years. In this framework, the editorial group ACI International organizes once again the event 'Biostimulants Europe', which will take place in Madrid on the 23rd and the 24th of January 2019. In just two editions, this Congress has consolidated itself as one of the most important events in the European biostimulants industry, continent that consolidates over 40% of the global market.
AlgaEnergy will participate actively in this third edition. The biotechnology company will chair the 2019 edition of this must attend two-day event, which will bring together key industry stakeholders from the biostimulants industry internationally to discuss about the current challenges, opportunities and potential.
Professionals from the biostimulants sector will be able to discover AlgaEnergy’s value proposition for a more sustainable agriculture: AgriAlgae®, its innovative and effective agricultural biostimulants based on microalgae. In fact, the interest aroused by AlgaEnergy in the previous editions of 'Biostimulants Europe', has motivated the organization to invite the biotechnology company to prepare a monographic day. The session will include a visit to its Technological Platform for Experimentation with Microalgae (PTEM) -the microalgae cultivation plant located at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport- and to the facilities of the Institute for Rural and Agricultural Research and Development of Madrid (iMiDRA). This prestigious R&D center carries out field trials and product tests. AlgaEnergy collaborates with iMiDRA since a couple of years in demonstrating the effectiveness of the biostimulants AgriAlgae® in different crops, such as melon, tomato, pepper and vineyard.

Following an extensive restructuring, AlgaEnergy is proud to partner with DE SANGOSSE Group through a soon to be finalized deal that will enable a concentrated focus on its agricultural markets. Previous business verticals including cosmetics, bioenergy, aquaculture and nutraceuticals will be discontinued, allowing a single-minded focus on solutions for agricultural markets, specifically agribiological inputs (biostimulants, biofertilizers and biocontrol).
