After having visited AlgaEnergy’s facilities at Barajas airport (Madrid), the magazine “Agricultura" -one of the most important agricultural media in Spain-, has published a two-page article summarizing AgriAlgae®’s origins and potential. The journal goes back to 2010, when the first trials of the product were carried out, and highlights the development until AgriAlgae®’s commercial launch in late 2015. The conclusion, according to “Agricultura”, is clear:
“Microalgae have reached the market in order to stay”.
The magazine’s reasoning is based on the benefits of microalgal biomass when compared with its concurrence in the agricultural biostimulants’ market. It multiplies at least by five the content in proteins of its mainplant-based competitors, and has a complete profile of L-amino acids essential to any plant, as well as a large quantity of plant hormones, peptidesand other highly beneficial components for the optimal development of any crop.
